For this week, Dr Khalid and Dr Rosseni asked us to present our storyboard again so that they could comment and add to our video to make it a whole. At first, our original ideas was about food and it is okay to eat whatever you want but you have to make sure you balanced it out afterwards but since it is a problem/solution video, Dr commented that it is not relatable because our problem was not really a problem because we agreed on it is okay to eat which is not a problem at all since it is okay to do so. So instead, we are going to make it a travel video which involves food as well but the problem would be that we cannot really choose what and where we eat when travelling because we might not know the area and there are limited food restaurants so we tend to just eat anything we could find because there are no choice to choose from. And for the solution, we agreed on what we should do after we got back from travelling and how to balance out what we ate during our trip which is by exercising (bicycling, swimming and jogging etc.) Our new idea and storyboard was approved by both Dr Khalid and Dr Rosseni and they seemed really pleased with it.
Even though we changed our concept from food to travel, we don’t have to change anything actually because basically the main theme is still food. This makes it easy for us since we had travel all the way to Penang for our video. But since we do not have to re-shoot the video, we are very pleased with the new ideas and relieved because we are still on track. After the presentation, my group and I discussed about the new storyboard and thought of a new title for it. We changed it from “Food Hunt in Penang” to “Travel, Food and Diet”.
In my opinion, it is true what Dr Khalid and Dr Rosseni said about our previous idea. It was not a problem-based video and I want to thank them for pushing us back on the right track and think of initiatives so that we could still use the scenes we’ve shot.
Thanks for reading guys. See you next time!
